Privacy Policy
DRAFT SKELETON — NOT YET REVIEWED BY COUNSEL. Written to match what the software actually does today. Every claim here must stay true as the product changes, and must be reviewed before launch.
What we collect
- Wallet address. Public, and inherent to using a blockchain. We link it to your activity on Blipp.
- Approximate location. Derived from your IP at the network edge, to enforce the jurisdiction restrictions in our terms. We store the country code, not the IP address.
- Usage data. Pages viewed, markets opened, errors encountered. Used to fix and improve the product.
What we can see
Your forecast is hidden from other users until a pool closes, but it is stored in our database and Blipp can read it. Your deposited balance is held in a Blipp-controlled wallet. Treat Blipp the way you would treat any exchange that holds your funds.
What we never see
- Your private keys. Signing happens in your wallet. Blipp never sees your seed phrase and cannot move funds from your personal wallet.
- Your name, email, or documents, unless an identity requirement is introduced, which would be disclosed here first.
What is public by nature
Your deposits and withdrawals are Solana transactions. They are permanently public and permanently linked to your wallet address, and nobody, including Blipp, can delete them. Your forecasts and balance live in our database, not on the blockchain.
Third parties
- RPC and indexing provider — sees the requests your client makes.
- Hosting and CDN provider — sees your IP address when you load the site.
- Analytics and error monitoring — see usage events and crash reports.
Each provider will be named here once the stack is final.
Retention
Off-chain data is kept only as long as it is needed to run the service and meet legal obligations. On-chain data cannot be deleted by anyone.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete data we hold about you. This section, and the request process, will be completed by counsel.
